The new website was designed for desktop, tablet, and phone, and contains online applications to adopt and foster German Shepherds. It also provides information to educate the public about German Shepherds.
About Greater Houston German Shepherd Dog Rescue
Greater Houston German Shepherd Dog Rescue is a 501c3 all volunteer rescue dedicated to saving as many German Shepherds in the Greater Houston Metro area as humanly possible – based on current resources of available foster homes, the rate at which they can find suitably matched adoptive homes, and of course, financial resources for veterinary care.
GHGSDR Shepherds mostly come from animal shelters where they are awaiting euthanasia, or are legally surrendered by their owners. All of these Shepherd Dogs need loving, forever homes and families to call their own. They have several GSDs available for adoption, and they are regularly taking more Shepherds into their Rescue Program, increasing the numbers of dogs available for adoption. Whenever they can, they also work with other dog rescue groups in Texas and nationwide to help ensure the safety and security of these wonderful animals.
