About Kingwood Pops Orchestra
The Kingwood Pops Orchestra is an organization that is dedicated to bringing the best and most beautiful music to the community. Consisting of volunteer musicians, the orchestra spends many hours preparing for the concerts.
The conductor, Gary Liebst, chooses great music that makes audiences look forward to the next concert. The emcee, Bob Schorr, is also returning to share his talents. He always has a surprise for the audience!
Kingwood Pops Orchestra is always looking for financial support, and they are currently supported by the Houston Arts Alliance for grant sources as well as corporate sponsors that include Exxon-Mobil, Chevron, and Phillips 66. The organization also appreciates all the supporters from the community who place ads in their programs, or made in-kind donations.
The Kingwood Pops Orchestra continues to enjoy a good relationship with the Lake Houston Musical Arts Society and Lone Star College-Kingwood. The music organization hopes to see more people from the community at the concerts.
